Priestly shreds his way to November Player of the Month honours
After a stellar showing across both Modern Warfare and Cold War, Call of Duty varsity player Justin “Priestly” Parent has been an award the Saints Player of the Month for November.
Priestly, a second-year Business Administration - Finance student, has been an essential part of St. Clair's varsity Call of Duty team this season. This past month, he played a major role in leading the team to a Top-5 finish in Tespa's Modern Warfare tournament in addition to shredding the competition on route to a 4-0 record in Tespa's current Cold War season.
"The amount of dedication he has shown while also attending class is incredible. Justin is growing as a player and an individual more and more each day,” said Call of Duty Coach and Captain Dawson Lovell. “He is an essential asset to my team with astonishing communication and leadership skills. He has hit, and exceeded, every goal I've set for him."
Priestly has consistently been the team's MVP as he steps up every match, topping leaderboards with frags, defends and objective times. When he isn’t tearing up opponents in-game, he uses his expert game knowledge to provide input on loadout setups and developing map and game mode strategies. He is early to scrimmages and warms-up and helps lead VOD reviews while also balancing schoolwork and maintaining great grades.
Priestly's positive attitude in-game and out, his commitment, and his ability to lead and improve his teammates has made him a tremendous asset to his team and the entire St. Clair's varsity esports program.
Honorable Mention: Zach "Mianspho" Dillen (League of Legends)
