Interim Head Coach - Counter-Strike: Global Offensive
The St. Clair Saints are seeking a Head Coach for the varsity CSGO team. This position is volunteer, however, scholarships are available for student-coaches. This is an interim position until May 30th 2021 with the opportunity for extension. This is a remote position.
Qualifications
Candidate should have a strong understanding of CSGO
Should be a creative thinker who is eager to put their ideas into action
Must possess excellent organizational and time management skills
Strong Communication skills
Minimum of one year of competitive CSGO experience as either a player or coach
Demonstrated strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings
Ability to travel with the team if required
Job Description
Manages day-to-day activities of the varsity CSGO team
Coordinates tryouts and assists the staff in scouting talent from outside the college
Selects, evaluates and manages the CSGO roster including substitutes
Handles scheduling of training and competitions
Committed to the personal development of players on their roster both in and out of game
Plan and oversee the implementation of overall game strategy
Constantly striving to stay up to date on meta including team compositions, strategy, positioning, rule changes, game patches
Bolsters dedication, sporting engagement, and team spirit
Spearheads logistical duties that facilitate entry into leagues and tournaments
Content expert in CSGO and the collegiate CSGO community
Coordinates with the broadcast team and marketing team
