Saints Rocket League ranked #2 in North America in pre-season poll

The collegiate Rocket League season will start with St. Clair College ranked as the No. 2 team in all of North America.

The Saints Rocket League squad is No. 2 in the eFuse coaches poll, trailing only Northwood University. This marks the first time that St. Clair has made the eFuse Top 10 rankings. The eFuse coaches' polls are voted on by coaches from top programs across North America.

With only one returning player, Kamal Alhariri, the Saints recruited top-talent for the 2021-22 Rocket League team to bolster their roster and competition level. This included the additions of Josh “Jay” Podruzny and Josh “Comp” Byrne from Alberta along with five players from the Windsor region.

Making their debut over the summer, the new-look team staked their claim as the top Rocket League program in Canada. The Saints took home championships in both provincial and national events, along with finishing in third in the top North American collegiate summer tournament.

Since forming in May, the team has accumulated 111 wins and 23 losses. The Saints hold notable wins over top-contenders Bay State College, Columbia College, Stockton University, University of Akron and Durham College as well as Division 1 schools Boise State University and Ohio State University.
