Saints take home 2 NACE MVPs, Coach of the Year Honours and more
St. Clair Esports players and staff have been recognized for several individual awards, capping off another successful season of competition in the National Association of Collegiate Esports (NACE).
Overwatch's Alex Madgwick-Smith, of the United Kingdom, and Call of Duty's Rodrigo Armendáriz, of Mexico, each took home Player of the Year awards in their respective titles. Each player displayed remarkable commitment, sportsmanship, and competitive prowess this season to earn the award.
Rocket League head Coach Yusuf Naebkhil, of Windsor, took home his first-ever NACE Coach of the Year Award. Naebkhil lead the Rocket League squad to their first-ever NACE Championship in Fall 2025 and a Top 6 finish in Spring.
The Saints also saw representation across both 1st and 2nd All-NACE teams with 8 players receiving the honours.
