Fragadelphia returns to St. Clair College
Counter-Strike will be center stage as Fragadelphia once again takes over the Nexus Esports Arena at St. Clair College from July 11-12.
“Having FRAG return to St. Clair is not only great for us and the community, but it’s an amazing experience for the students to work alongside industry experts,” said Assistant Esports Director Chris Funston. “These are the types of opportunities we strive to provide for our students.”
Fragadelphia is a prominent North American Counter-Strike tournament series, known primarily for hosting events across the U.S. The event made its Canadian debut last year at St. Clair College with 35 teams and nearly 400 spectators from across the globe traveling to Windsor to compete in FRAG 19.
The prize pool for the event will range between $5,000 to $10,000 USD depending on sign ups. Currently, 20 teams have registered for the event.
FRAG St. Clair is listed as a VRS (Valve Regional Standings) event, where players can earn points to improve their global ranking and qualify for professional events.
