St. Clair Saints Summer 2025 Recap: By the Numbers
The summer was quite a busy time over here at St. Clair College with the Saints doing a multitude of things from running broadcasts and hosting events to winning awards. Let’s take a look at the St. Clair Saints summer 2025 recap.
This summer, there was no shortage of events at the Nexus with the venue being host to events such as Fragadelphia 19, The Summoning 2025, Pressure Point 2025, the Ontario School Esports Association (OSEA) Rocket League Championship, the Lambton Kent District School Board (LKDSB) Rocket League Tournament, two weeks of summer camp esports camp for kids aged 8-16 and Smash Class which is our Super Smash Bros. and fighting games event series.
In addition to this, the program served as the official broadcast partner of the 2025 College VALORANT (CVAL) Championship playoffs as well as the 2025 League of Legends College Championship playoffs (CLOL) at the start of the summer. In total, over 1,000 people attended the events at the Nexus with the broadcasts accumulating a total of over 17,500 watch time hours across Twitch and YouTube. The social media coverage of the events and other activities over the summer resulted in over 1.7 million views across our social media accounts on X, Instagram and TikTok.
For the work put in by the marketing, events and broadcast teams composed of mostly students, they were recognized with three different awards; EsportsU Broadcast Team of the Year in May and both the NACE Outstanding Marketing Team of the Year and NACE Outstanding Production Team of the Year in July.
With the summer done and dusted and the fall semester in full swing, the Saints are continuing to push the boundaries and always improve.
