Fusion named Saints Player of the Month for September

Tyler “Fusion” Bellavance has been named the St. Clair Saints Player of the Month for September following a stellar start to the season as a part of the Saints Rocket League team.

With the former captain of St. Clair’s varsity team taking a step back, Fusion stepped up into the captain role elevating his game along with his fellow freshman teammates. In September, the Saints Rocket League team amassed a 12-4 record including a 7-2 run in CRL qualifiers where they fell one game short of qualifying.

A freshman in St. Clair College’s Esports Administration and Entrepreneurship Program, Fusion made his name known quickly in the collegiate Rocket League scene and as apart of St. Clair College’s esports community. He is driven and motivated as a player and a student at St. Clair College where he has displayed elite performance on the pitch and exceptional teamwork and leadership outside of it.

“He's a huge anchor for our team,” said Varsity Rocket League Coach Ethan Sinclair. “He always makes sure everyone is focused during the game, brings up the team’s morale after a loss and keeps spirits high during long tournaments.”

Outside of collegiate, Fusion successfully made Rocket League Championship Series Season X as a member of one of the Top 32 teams in North America. He is a large part of the Rocket League community and is always involved in the scene.
